Xiaomi Mi 9 is equipped with a 19:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display of 6.39 inches. The screen delivers FHD+ resolution of 2280x 1080 pixels, which offers an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 percent. The Mi 9 has 103.8 percent NTSC super wide color gamut and up to 600 nits of brightness. There are also a bunch of optimizations for different usage scenarios such as night mode and game mode. It also features a second-generation “sun-screen” that has better color reproduction and brightness under strong light.

Xiaomi claims that since the display of the phone is equipped with a highly sensitive pressure sensor, it can instantly scan and unlock the phone by touching on the screen gently. Hence, a user does not require to press harder on the screen to unlock it.
