Xiaomi Mi 9 Global is equipped with 6.39 inches Samsung AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio Corning Gorilla Glass 6th generation. The second-generation "sun-screen" has better color reproduction and brightness under strong light. Xiaomi has also upgraded eye protection mode on Mi 9 to "256 steps" with smooth transitions.
